Raytheon is seeking a Program Operations Manager. The RAM GMLS Program Operations position is the primary interface between the GMLS Program Office Integrated Program Leadership Team and the Factory Leadership Team, responsible for communicating all Program requirements to the Strategic Make Centers (SMCs) and manufacturing sites. Reporting to the RAM Operations lead, this Individual will collaborate with Program Management and be the liaison to the SMCs ensuring that all program needs are integrated and supported to meet program commitments. Results will be accomplished through leading, influencing and briefing across all levels of the organization, including internal and external customers.

This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities spanning multiple contracts, with work-share complexities between Raytheon and German Defense Industry. Requires spending significant amounts of time in and around factory areas, closed areas, and requires full time on plant site support. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to provide operations leadership across the program lifecycle including proposals, development, production, and sustainment activities. The preferred candidate must be capable of working beyond the typical 40-hour work week, travel domestically and move between buildings and local facilities.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for all operations team cost, schedule, and quality for RAM GMLS manufacturing and operations scope
  • Coordinate Operations bids for new factory-facing proposals
  • Manage the coordination and execution of manufacturing schedules with Global Supply Chain Management, Subcontracts, Engineering and other functional areas to support on time delivery
  • Support Manufacturing Operations strategy and utilize CORE best practices
  • Interface with internal and external customers to understand needs and issues, ensuring the customers receive satisfactory standards of service
  • Define clear operational schedules, priorities & goals for each Strategic Make Center

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
  • Previous leadership position in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning system.
  • Experience managing manufacturing plans and maintaining integrated schedules in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
  • Active and transferable Secret Clearance U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain higher clearance level or program access prior to start date

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or Estimates at Completion (EAC's).

  • Previous leadership position in a fast paced technical or manufacturing environment that included multiple working organizations; this would include extensive experience building strong cross-functional teams with proven results

  • Experience with Manufacturing Data Products and Manufacturing Systems as a whole to execute a contract (Contract Award, Integrated Contracts Management System (ICMS), Materiel Requirements Planning (MRP), Work Instructions, Test Instructions, cPDM, Common As Built System (CABS) , and DD250 process).

  • Problem solving abilities that bridge production realities to financial commitments

  • Experience with proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOE's)

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
