About the role:
CLA is looking to hire a Business Development Director for our growing Consulting and Outsourcing service line. This role is responsible for executing the business development strategy and ultimately driving growth throughout the service line.
As a Business Development Director, you will:
  • Assist outsourcing leadership in implementing service-specific business development efforts, market research, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Assist with the training of growth leaders on firmwide Marketing Technology strategy and tools.
  • Provide leadership with data analysis on key performance indicators that support business development efforts and revenue projections of growth leaders.
  • Lead the Business Development Advisory team that supports growth leaders in managing pipelines and RAP sheet accountability, coordinating client events and gift campaigns, and liaising with firmwide marketing on marketing collateral.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to oversee data quality and governance efforts, ensuring reliable reporting, accurate pipeline and revenue insights, and compliance with organizational data standards.
  • Assist in establishing and implementing processes and procedures related to the client lifecycle.

What you will need:
  • Eight years of relevant experience required. Experience in business operations, business development, marketing, and/or project management preferred.
  • Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is required; degree in business management, marketing, or related field preferred. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.
The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: $61,000.00 - $105,000.00.
The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is: $72,000.00 - $117,000.00.
