Job Description
The Accounting Assistant Intern will work closely with the CFO, Controller, and the rest of the management team.
Responsibilities
• Assist with Accounts payable & receivables.
• Ensure all records are kept accurate and are available for internal and external review and compliance
• Filing and renaming documents for audit/billing support
• Assist on other assigned tasks by other peers, managers
• Must be proactive and have strong communications skills
• Ability to learn complex accounting systems (Deltek & CostPoint)
• Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve and demonstrate professionalism and a positive work ethic.
• Intermediate to Expert Excel skills

• BS or BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (desired)
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with co-workers, peers, management, project managers, and customers.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet any sudden deadlines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be available to work additional hours when needed during month-end close or if any special projects are assigned.
