Division Information

PACCAR's Information Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA, utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.

The Role

PACCAR is searching for talented individuals to join our team and provide administrative and project support to the Vice President & CIO, as well as other senior executives at PACCAR's IT Division.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination of domestic and international travel, including tracking itineraries and helping ensure required travel documents are in place. 

  • Assist with expense reporting and reconciliation (e.g., gathering receipts, completing documentation, and following up on approvals) under guidance. 

  • Create, format, and edit presentations and reports for leadership, using provided templates and direction. 

  • Provide calendar and scheduling support (e.g., proposing times, sending invites, and tracking responses) while escalating conflicts and priorities as needed. 

  • Assist with event coordination, including logistics, communications, and day-of support. 

  • Help set up on-site and off-site meetings (room bookings, Teams links, catering requests, visitor coordination) following established processes. 

  • Provide professional front-desk/phone support as needed, including greeting visitors and routing calls or messages. 

  • Maintain distribution lists and support SharePoint/file organization (uploading, naming conventions, access requests) with attention to data handling guidelines. 

  • Take on additional administrative and project tasks as assigned to support team priorities and learning goals. 

  • Schedule Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm 

 

Required Work Experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to draft clear emails and meeting notes 

  • Organized and dependable; able to manage multiple tasks, follow instructions, and meet deadlines with supervision 

  • Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and ask questions to understand the broader context 

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Access, Visio, or Concur is a plus but not required 

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. 

  • Professional, customer-service mindset; comfortable interacting with employees at all levels with support from the team. 

Education

Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited college with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or a related field.
