Position Summary:

Vintners Distributors is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Financial Intern to support the Finance Department in analytical, reporting, and operational functions. This internship runs through the end of the calendar year and is designed for individuals currently pursuing advanced business education or recently completing an MBA program.

The Financial Intern will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic support activities. This role is ideal for candidates seeking to apply MBA-level concepts in a dynamic, multi-brand retail and operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Support month-end close processes, including reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
  • Conduct research and compile data to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information and validate financial assumptions.
  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, and summaries for leadership review.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide general support to the Finance Department on ad-hoc projects and analyses.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program or graduated from an MBA program in Summer 2026.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly and professionally.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
