Job Location:Tampa, FL
General Purpose of the Position:
The finance intern works under the guidance of a senior professional to perform basic finance administrative duties. This position will assist the finance department with duties such as financial reports, Deltek, data entry, and payroll. This individual will perform other entry-level staff duties in which asked of.
Objectives: As you go through your internship, you will learn many skills
•Use and understand basic knowledge within the accounting/finance field
•Understand how to operate and use Deltek systems
•Understand how to prepare reports and analysis
Duties: Responsibilities will vary
•Assist with system configuration related tasks
•Verification and matching of transaction records
•Prepare reports and analysis
•Data Entry
•Other related duties as assigned
Required Skills:
•Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Accounting or
Finance
•Experience with Microsoft Office - skilled in excel
•Strong ethic and ability to work in a team environment
