Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following, other duties may be assigned as needed:
  • Oversight and Valuation
    • Perform NAV Oversight and review pricing exceptions and corporate actions to ensure Fund NAVs are accurate
    • Monitory and report potential fund issues or violations
    • Custody/Accounting reconciliation review
  • Treasury
    • Monitor segregation and cash/borrowing accounts to ensure adequate coverage is maintained; report issues to management
  • Monitor Fund's defaulted, restricted, and illiquid positions
  • Calculate Funds' dividend distributions
  • Reporting
    • Prepare certain Pricing Committee and Board of Trustees reports, including quarterly compensation statements for the Trustees
    • Prepare semi and annual financial statements for SEC and shareholder reporting
  • Review monthly N-PORT filings to the SEC
  • Solvency Reporting
  • Prepare Fund expense payments and forecast profitability

Supervisory Responsibilities
None
Qualifications
  • Interest for investing and an understanding of financial markets
  • Knowledge about different asset classes (equity, fixed income) and investment products (mutual funds, ETFs)
  • Quantitative orientation; track record of data analysis
  • Exposure to financial systems and software packages
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience using computer software, including Bloomberg

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor Degree in accounting is preferred but other business degrees will be considered
  • Internship in financial organization preferred
  • 1+ year of related industry experience preferred; not required
