This position is a part of operations finance team in the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) division supporting the PATRIOT Product Team.  PATRIOT has a wide range of Contract Types, Customers, and Deliverables.  The successful candidate for this position will support quarterly Estimate at Completes (EACs), monthly Earned Value Analysis, monthly Budget Change Requests, demonstrate the ability to perform meaningful analysis, assist in financial recommendations, and communicate effectively while partnering with management.

What You Will Do 

  • Perform financial analysis for both total program and product level cost elements to help define, understand, and explain monthly and quarterly variances from budget and EAC positions

  • Maintain accurate records for Budget and EAC tracking to ensure adequate funding is available using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)

  • Process approved Budget Change Requests (BCR) and ensures all changes are incorporated into control systems

  • Partner with Patriot Product Line teams, LADS Program Management Offices, Supply Chain, and other cross business teams

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience with Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel skills

  • U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experienced user of SAP (APEX and/or Prism), RTN PMX, or similar system

  • Earn Value Management System (EVMS) Certified

  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, willing to take on challenges

  • Operations finance or factory/manufacturing finance experience

  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information in support of business portfolio

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
