The Advanced Hypersonic Weapons Portfolio in the Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit has an immediate opening for a Financial Program Controls Analyst. This position provides a tremendous growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to partner with the program leadership team, which includes Program Managers, technical leads, and functional partners. In addition, this role will provide the opportunity to increase exposure to multiple facets of finance and the overall organization. The Advanced Hypersonic Weapons Portfolio generates approximately $400M in revenue per year. The Financial Analyst will have a key role in the setup and execution of multiple large contracts while providing critical financial oversight and guidance. This position will be interacting/collaborating with a variety of different internal and external customers. This role will support contractual Earned Value Management (EVM) and Estimate at Complete (EAC) requirements on complex programs.

What you Will Do

  • Support of development cost-plus contractual EVM contracts.
  • Providing critical financial oversight and guidance for the contracts they maintain.
  • Partnership with Program Management and cross functional leads to support program execution.
  • Support of all program financial aspects including monthly financial performance reporting.
  • Program controls such as developing EACs and execution of EVM processes.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Experience with computer/Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to management and peers.
  • Experience interpreting and analyzing financial data.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) when interfacing with all levels of the company.
  • Experience in a matrix environment.
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines.
  • Ability to drive change and influence beyond authority level.
  • Experience and understanding of the program business role, APEX, Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), and/or experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) concepts.
  • Experience managing multiple DoD contracts.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
