Raytheon’s finance team in Tucson, AZ, seeks a Finance Lead to serve as a critical business partner to internal and external stakeholders by providing financial analysis, insight, and guidance to decision making.  This position is offered in an onsite capacity based on the needs of the business and will support a program that resides in Tucson, AZ.  A relocation package is available.

What You Will Do

  • You will have broad responsibility for development cost-plus contractual Earned Value Management (EVM) program controls
  • Lead, coordinate, and mentor peers on the development and analysis of all program financial data, including contractual EVM requirements, development and presentation of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs), and support of financial forecasting for the program.
  • Support development and integration of financial planning aspects (LRP, AOP, working capital, monthly financial performance reporting)
  • Provide financial analysis for growth opportunities as well as be a key contributor for the proposal / Gate 4 process
  • Interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Typically requires, A university degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
    • Relevant experience is working in finance or contracts disciplines
  • Department of War experience managing multiple DoW contracts with external deliverables (e.g. IPMDAR/IPMAR, CSDR, and/or CFSR).
  • Experience of a Program Business role, including Earned Value Management (EVM), Estimates at Complete (EACs), and/or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
  • Experienced in organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to customers, management and peers.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer 

  • Demonstrated experience in a matrix environment.
  • Experience with financial systems and tools, including APEX, BW, Rplan, PMX, Excel, etc.
  • Experience with financial forecasting, AOP, LRP, and R&O management
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and numerous stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and professional skills when interfacing with all levels.
  • Experience drive change and influence beyond authority level
  • Active Secret DoW clearance

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
