Deloitte's Engagement Financial Advisor (EFA) team helps consulting teams manage the financial health of their projects. As a Project Financial Analyst, you will work closely with project leaders to manage budgets, track financial performance, forecast revenue and expenses, and help ensure projects stay financially on track.

This role combines financial analysis, project operations, and stakeholder support to help consulting teams manage the financial health of large client engagements. You will support projects throughout the full project lifecycle while gaining exposure to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, billing, and financial operations in a fast-paced consulting environment.

The Team

The Engagement Financial Advisor team supports Deloitte consulting professionals by helping them manage the financial and operational aspects of client projects. The team works closely with internal stakeholders to support project planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and overall project financial performance.

This role offers the opportunity to build skills in financial analysis, project operations, stakeholder management, and consulting business processes while working on large-scale, complex engagements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant experience or Business degree in Finance, Accounting, Economic or related discipline and 2 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting and finance principles
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Ability to work in your local office at a minimum of one day per week
  • Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to one of the select locations available for this role 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
