Purpose Statement: Acts as a Finance Business Partner to provide financial leadership for the Global Technology function and drives financial performance improvement. Responsible for a variety of financial activities, including capital investment and operating expense forecasting, analysis of actual results against expectation and financial risk avoidance. The key job responsibilities remain consistent across all financial analyst job levels with higher levels characterized by increasing levels of complexity and scope.
Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports providing clear communication and actionable insight on results and performance to leaders within the Global Technology and Corporate Finance teams.
  • Use analysis of historical results, quoted price and projected business requirements to establish financial goals for categories of spend within the Global Technology function.
  • Lead the forecast process for various teams within the Global Technology function. Prepare accurate monthly capital investment and operating expense forecasts and monitor progress against those targets throughout the month and quarter.
  • Possess an understanding of hardware procurement, software licensing and professional services contracts for assigned teams within the Global Technology function. Lead risk mitigation and cost avoidance efforts in collaboration with functional owners and Procurement team members.
  • Follow the financial month-end close processes; work with corporate accounting, Global Technology management and supporting teams to ensure functional financial results are correctly stated in accordance with corporate procedures and that we meet all audit and control requirements.

Education/Experience Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a(n) Associates Degree is required; a(n) Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration is preferred
  • 1 year of related experience is required; 2 years of related experience is preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.

Other Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Excel is required.
  • Experience with or expertise in financial systems is strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills are essential.
