Job description


We are seeking a skilled Plex ERP Analyst with strong experience supporting manufacturing finance, product costing, supplier quality, and reporting within a Plex ERP environment. This role will partner closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to improve system usage, reporting visibility, costing accuracy, and business processes across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Plex ERP, particularly around finance and manufacturing processes including Product Costing, PPV (Purchase Price Variance), SCAR management, inventory transactions, and operational reporting. This individual will act as a key functional resource supporting day-to-day ERP activities, troubleshooting issues, driving process improvements, and assisting with reporting and analytics initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Support and optimize Plex ERP functionality across Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality operations
  • Analyze and troubleshoot ERP-related process and transaction issues
  • Manage and improve Product Costing processes including standard costing, inventory valuation, BOM/routing validation, labor and overhead allocations
  • Investigate and analyze PPV (Purchase Price Variance) trends and partner with Purchasing and Finance teams on root cause analysis
  • Support SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) processes and reporting within Plex and related quality systems
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Plex reports, dashboards, SQL queries, and operational reporting tools
  • Work closely with Finance teams on month-end processes, inventory reconciliation, costing accuracy, and transactional integrity
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend ERP enhancements to improve efficiency and data visibility
  • Assist with user training, documentation, and ERP best practices
  • Support system upgrades, testing initiatives, and implementation of new Plex functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent business processes across departments and facilities

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Plex ERP in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing finance and operational processes
  • Experience with:
    • Product Costing
    • PPV Analysis
    • Inventory Control
    • BOMs and Routings
    • Supplier Quality / SCAR processes
    • Manufacturing transactions and reporting
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards within Plex and/or SQL reporting tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and functional business teams
  • Experience supporting automotive or industrial manufacturing environments preferred
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred

Preferred Experience
  • Plex SQL reporting experience
  • Power BI, SSRS, or other reporting/analytics tools
  • Experience with month-end close support and manufacturing accounting
  • Exposure to EDI, Quality Management, or MES processes within Plex
  • Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations
