Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Collington | Reports to the CEO | Full-Time, Exempt
Collington seeks a strategic, mission-driven Chief Financial Officer to serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors and a key partner to executive leadership, the Board Finance Committee, Resident Committees, and The Kendal Corporation. This executive will lead financial operations, strengthen long-term sustainability, and provide the insight, discipline, and transparency needed to support confident decision-making across the organization.
Key Priorities
  • Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance with rigor, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Provide financial insight that informs executive decisions, long-range planning, and organizational sustainability.
  • Strengthen internal controls, asset management, and financial systems to protect and optimize resources.
  • Build trusted relationships with leadership, the Board, residents, lenders, auditors, and regulators.

Campus Expansion Projects
  • Partner with the Project Team to support financial planning, analysis, and oversight of campus expansion projects.
  • Provide strategic input on project feasibility, capital structure, funding strategies, and long-term financial impact.
  • Support the project developer in developing, reviewing, and refining financial models and assumptions.
  • Communicate project-related financial insights to leadership, the Board, and stakeholders.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field; CPA and/or MBA preferred; and brings at least six years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in healthcare, senior living, nonprofit, or related settings. The successful candidate will combine strong command of U.S. GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance with the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly to varied audiences.
