The Finance Advisor - Financial Reporting is responsible for driving accounting compliance, strengthening financial and operational internal controls, simplifying processes, and enabling operational excellence. This role ensures the delivery of accurate actual financial reporting and analysis in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements. By collaborating with Corporate HQ, Segment, and FP&A teams, the Finance Advisor supports highquality closes and consolidated financial reporting across the organization.

As a Finance Advisor - Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and analyzing accurate financial statements and disclosures based on actual results, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and reporting regulations.

  • Consolidating, analyzing, and reporting financial results in line with corporate, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

  • Partnering closely with Corporate HQ Controllership and Finance teams to meet all reporting deadlines and requirements in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Managing the accounting of crossproduct company transactions through the Cross Business Schedule (CBS) process, including equity and costmethod investments, capital infusions, dividend distributions, and acquisitions and dispositions.

  • Maintaining and applying relevant accounting policies governing crossbusiness and intercompany transactions.

  • Partnering with FP&A leaders (Segment and Region CFOs, FP&A leads, and related stakeholders) to ensure efficient and effective financial closes.

  • Coordinating with Segment Controllers and finance teams to obtain information required for the financial close and related analyses.

  • Leading quarterly and yearend analyses required for Baker Hughes consolidated financial statements and external reporting.

  • Acting as a problem solver, collaborator, and critical thinker, with the ability to quickly understand complex financial matters and propose practical, compliant solutions.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited university or college.

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, controllership, or a related finance role.

  • Have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.

  • Have effective analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills with the ability to manage complex and competing priorities.

  • Have strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey financial information to diverse stakeholders.

  • Have demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to influence others and lead small teams.

  • Be comfortable working in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven, global environment.
