Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.
We are currently seeking a Coordinator, Content Rights to join our Legal and Business Affairs & Rights Management team based in our New York, NY office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and maintain deal shells and associated projects in the Rights Management system for all Congas (deal memos, term sheets) and executed agreements received by the department.
  • Maintain deal-specific document repositories (SharePoint and shared drives), ensuring complete and organized tracking of all contractual materials.
  • Review Congas, agreements, and amendments to identify and extract key deal points, including contracting parties, general terms, and financials, for accurate system entry.
  • Create searchable (OCR) versions of executed agreements and amendments; upload and distribute documentation to relevant department stakeholders.
  • Enter and maintain project and asset metadata, including titles, episode counts, runtimes, production credits, release years, and other required data points.
  • Monitor, file, and maintain supporting materials such as scheduling grids, legal delivery notifications, and rights & clearance restrictions within SharePoint and the Rights system.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of exhibition windows that integrate with the scheduling system across all platforms (Linear, SVOD, AVOD, FVOD, FAST, EST/TVOD, etc.).
  • Assist on adhoc requests and special projects related to rights intake, documentation, reporting, and system cleanup as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • B.A. or B.S. preferred with minimum 1 + years in media related work experience
  • Competent in all aspects of MS Office and a higher-level competence of Excel preferred
  • There is a high level of productivity and accuracy required in the position.Must be detail oriented with the ability to follow-up and perform due diligence on projects assigned
  • Have an ability and willingness to work independently as well as within a team environment
  • The department as well as the position is service-oriented, so excellent interpersonal communication skills are necessary as is an ability to articulate data points and/or issues with colleagues across the company

The base compensation range for this position is $55,000- $60,000, commensurate with experience.
