Description:

The School of Education Office Assistant will assist Education faculty and staff with a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with filing and organizing tasks
  2. Assist with copying, sorting, and shredding materials
  3. Assist with converting paper files to electronic files
  4. Assist with organizing and maintaining the Hufford Resource Lab
  5. Run various errands across campus
  6. Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

  1. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  2. Must be a current Newman University student enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credit hours)
  3. Willingness to learn new software
  4. Ability to work independently
  5. Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
  6. Ability to communicate with faculty and staff
  7. Punctual

Number of hours per week: approximately 10

Hours: Varies, during office hours M - F, 8am - 5pm

Number of positions available: 1

Rate of Pay: $8.25 per hour
