Job Description

We are seeking a Workato Integration Developer to design, build, and maintain automated workflows and integrations using the Workato platform. This role will focus on connecting SaaS applications, orchestrating business processes, and enabling real-time data movement across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate is hands-on with iPaaS technologies, understands API-based integrations, and is passionate about building scalable, reusable, and intelligent automation solutions that support business operations and AI-driven use cases.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop integrations ("recipes") using Workato
  • Build end-to-end workflows connecting systems such as CRM, ERP, HRIS, and marketing platforms
  • Configure triggers, actions, and conditional logic for automation processes Integrate systems via REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and file-based transfers
  • Implement data transformation, mapping, and enrichment within workflows
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations for performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into automation solutions
  • Ensure integrations follow best practices for security, governance, and scalability
  • Document integration processes, workflows, and reusable components
  • Lead and/or support business development efforts
  • Lead and/or support proposal development and solution design in support of new and expanded client work

Required Skills

  • 3-6+ years of experience in integration development or automation
  • Hands-on experience with Workato (or similar iPaaS tools like Boomi Platform, MuleSoft, Zapier)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • REST APIs, JSON, XML
    • Event-driven and API-led integration patterns
  • Experience building automation workflows across SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Slack, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Basic scripting or logic experience (JavaScript, Python, or similar within recipes)

Desired Skills

  • Experience with:
    • Data transformation and data quality concepts
    • Webhooks and real-time event processing
  • Familiarity with:
    • CI/CD and version control (Git)
    • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
