Job Description

The Workers’ Compensation Law Case File Manager will be managing the day-to-day activities on assigned files under the direction of the handling attorney.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English & Spanish required.
  • Education: High school or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience: No experience necessary.
  • Accurately type 45 words per minute
  • Demonstrate a team-oriented collaborative work style
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent hands-on computer skills including working in a paperless environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and enjoy daily interaction with the firm’s clients
  • Ability to multi-task and utilize critical thinking skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain personal contact with the firm’s clients to assist them with their case, answer questions, and inform the assigned attorney of significant developments
  • Work closely with handling attorneys to ensure all tasks are completed to keep cases moving toward resolution
  • Maintain assigned attorneys’ calendar for client conferences
  • Set up medical appointments
  • Prepare, file, and serve documents under the direction of the assigned attorney
  • Document the legal file with significant developments
  • Assist the assigned attorney in communication with Spanish speaking clients
