Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable File Clerk to support our family law practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and organizing client records and legal documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval of files, and assisting with various clerical tasks. This role demands a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for client records, case files, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Utilize teamwork to support the firm with various clerical duties as needed.
  • Retrieve and deliver files as requested by attorneys and paralegals.
  • Ensure all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Perform regular audits of files and records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including sorting and distributing mail.
  • Assist with data entry and updating of records in the database.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to firm policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
