Goldberg Segalla has an immediate opportunity for a File Intake Analyst in its Buffalo or Albany, NY office.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Evaluate information secured in the file intake process to ensure accuracy and adequacy prior to entry in Aderant Professional follow up with attorneys and legal assistants for additional information or for clarity of information as needed Ensure the consistent entry of accurate information in Aderant during the file intake process consistent with firm protocols Conduct timely opening of new matters (1-2 business days) upon submission of appropriate information to the File Intake Group Prompt communication to request information to attorneys, administrative staff and supervisors in the event information is missing or unclear upon receipt of a request to open a new matter Contribute to the maintenance and updating of information in Aderant Assist in the file opening process during the onboarding of new attorneys to the firm Completion of reports on a daily, weekly, monthly or as needed basis Contribute to the training of firm employees with respect to the file opening process. Appreciate and understand the impact of File Opening and Aderant usage by the File Intake Department on other departments and the firm overall Understand and appropriately utilize firm systems including, but not limited to, Aderant, iManage, etc. Receive cross training and assist other departments as needed Assist with special projects and assignments as needed REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES & EXPERIENCE: Regularly required to clearly communicate and exchange information in English Strong organization and time management skills Regularly required to observe and assess data and documents, in printed form and on computer screens May be requested to work beyond normal work hours and weekends for special projects Works well in a team environment Ability to work independently within general guidelines and minimal supervision Ability to recognize the need for confidentiality of information and to maintain such confidences Ability to respond to internal or external inquiries, including those of a sensitive, confidential, or adversarial nature Benefits: This role offers a hourly salary and bonus opportunity.

The hourly salary range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. This position also offers a full benefits package
