Construction Field Operations Manager

Are you an experienced construction leader who thrives in the field and knows how to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule? We're seeking a Construction Field Operations Manager to oversee daily field operations across multiple commercial construction projects throughout the Pittsburgh region.

What You'll Do
- Oversee daily field operations for multiple active commercial construction projects.
- Lead and support Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to maximize productivity.
- Monitor project schedules and collaborate with Project Managers to keep projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct regular job site visits to ensure quality workmanship, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company standards.
- Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Resolve field issues quickly while minimizing project delays.
- Assist with workforce planning, scheduling, hiring, and employee development.
- Track project performance and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of construction leadership experience overseeing field operations on commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, quality control, and job site logistics.
- Proven leadership experience managing multiple crews and project teams.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations and construction best practices.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout the Pittsburgh area.
