Project Application Engineer (Industrial Automation)

Up to $139K Base
5 Weeks PTO | ~15% Travel

We’re looking for a Project Application Engineer to support full-system design and execution of industrial automation solutions for overhead crane and heavy industrial applications.
This role blends technical engineering, client interaction, and project execution, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working across the full lifecycle of a project.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop system specifications across drives, motors, transformers, and control systems
  • Perform power system evaluations and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and optimize cost vs. performance
  • Support technical proposals and client-facing engineering discussions
  • Lead design reviews with internal teams, vendors, and customers
  • Provide technical guidance throughout project execution
  • Identify new applications and support business growth initiatives
