Dewberry's Richmond, VA office is currently seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer  - Electric Vehicle (EV) & Telecommunications, who is interested in starting their career in a fast paced and growing industry.  Our EV & Telecommunications engineering department seeks a site/civil engineer who is client focused, highly motivated, organized, outgoing, and aggressive engineer looking to make an immediate impact while developing project management and technical experience.

Job entails field data collection, preparation of site plans for wireless facility designs, and coordination of design and schedule with clients and team members. Site designs often include grading, erosion control, and minor stormwater management design.conducting field data collection, preparing Electric Vehicle (EV) & wireless facility designs and coordinating all design aspects with a team, tracking the progress of projects, and construction control and inspection.


  • BS in Civil Engineering is required
  • 0-2 years of experience in Civil Engineering
  • F.E. preferred with P.E. track expected.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD  with Civil3D experience preferred. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members & sub consultants
  • Develop technical design documents for leasing, zoning and permitting.
  • Ability to compose technical reports, memorandums and other written communication.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects with varying teams.
