Job description


2026 - 2027 School Year
Description:
The Orechestra Festival Coordinator will be responsible for the planning and implementation of the D300 Orchestra Festival.




Expectations:
Disseminate all information regarding the event to D300 music teachers regarding timelines, registration, and announcements, etc.
Collaborate with the Director of Fine and Performing Arts on all aspects of the Orchestra Festival to ensure a successful event.
Facilitate the moving of equipment to and from the Orchestra Festival location.
Coordinate rehearsals, including but not limited to the set-up of performance spaces, student schedule for the festival including transportation, programing music.



Coordinate performance (s), ย including but not limited to the set-up of performance spaces, communication of event, program bill.
Secure clinicians and additional volunteers as needed.
Facilitate the event scheduled for Thursday, December 10, 2026.

Qualifications:
Professional Educators License with Music Endorsement
Must be D300 LEAD Member
Interested candidates must possess a strong knowledge of music education.
