In this role, you'll help produce high-quality livestock feed by operating equipment, supporting day-to-day production, and keeping the facility running safely and efficiently. No direct feed mill experience? No problem. We provide on-the-job training! 

This position offers a 2nd shift scheduled from 12pm-9pm Monday-Friday, onsite training, forklift certifications, competitive pay & benefits, and the opportunity to be a part of the largest cooperative in the U.S. Sold mostly in bulk, our feed mill is a key component in the formulation of the highest quality ingredients and all the essentials to improve health, performance and production. Responsibilities
  • Operate feed mill equipment (grinders, mixers, batching/pelleting systems) to manufacture livestock feed
  • Receive, handle, and move feed ingredients, load and unload trucks
  • Prepare and manage loadout, including opening hatches, attaching hoses, sampling, and ensuring accurate product delivery
  • Monitor batching/scaling systems and adjust processes to maintain feed quality and production accuracy
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance (greasing, inspections, minor troubleshooting) and report mechanical issues
  • Maintain a clean, safe mill environment through daily housekeeping, spill cleanup, and site upkeep
  • Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards while working with the team to meet daily production targets
Minimum Qualifications (required)
  • Must meet minimum age requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in operations, production, manufacturing, agriculture, or general labor environments. 
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Agriculture experience preferred
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work independently for extended periods of time, as well as in confined spaces and in hazardous environments.
  • Ability to spend long periods of time on your feet including walking, standing and climbing steps and ladders, and working at heights up to 120 ft.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to wear all required protective equipment may include respirators, hard hats, and eye and hearing protection.
  • Ability to use both automated and manual tools and equipment.
  • Ability to shovel, sweep, load, unload, lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Ability to work in noisy ,dusty, and all-weather conditions

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
