As a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, report maintenance concerns and/or suspicious activity, and document incidents according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist with following post orders, visitor and/or contractor access procedures, and communication with local authorities or site contacts during security-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
