The Federal Contracts Manager is a key position responsible for overseeing the full federal contracting process, including supporting pre-award proposal development, leading negotiations, contract execution, and monitoring post-award contract compliance, through contract closeout. What you will do:
  • Lead negotiations for all corporate contractual agreements to ensure favorable terms to facilitate corporate growth while mitigating operational and legal risks. These include Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Independent Contractor Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, Contract Modifications, and corporate Representations & Certifications.
  • Collaborate with Capture, Service Delivery, and Finance teams to complete competitive submissions or proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and data calls.
  • Cradle-to-grave management of all prime contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements for optimal performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and relevant regulations such as FAR, DFARS, GSAM, etc.
  • Work closely with leadership on drafting corporate policies and processes to ensure compliant business systems.
  • Prepare and draft Organizational Conflict of Interest Mitigation / Avoidance plans or certifications for opportunities, as needed.
  • Establish and improve JCS templates for subcontracts, vendor agreements, NDAs, CTAs, and Teaming Agreements.
  • Provide oversight of all contract administration including all required reports, funding analysis, LCAT verifications, and Government reporting sites.
  • Development of training related to contractual requirements, FAR/DFARS, and compliance topics. Present kickoff for each new program.
  • Ensure all Contract Briefs are updated for each contract modification to ensure contract value and funding validity.
  • Update and continuously monitor the Document Tracker to ensure all documents are processed and executed in a timely manner.
  • Proactively update and report in various government systems such as SAM.gov, FSRS, GSA ASSIST / CPRM and eGos.
  • Work closely with Finance and Service Delivery on completing contract closeouts.
  • Oversea organization and maintenance of all records within the Contracts SharePoint in accordance with internal policies.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all contract related matters, maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure program needs.
  • Ensure performance KPIs are consistently achieved and maintained, and report regular updates to leadership.

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Contract Management, or a related field. Advanced certification such as CFCM (Certified Federal Contract Manager) or equivalent is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in federal contracting or contract management within a government-regulated environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR, DFARS, etc.) and proficiency in all contract structures (FFP, T&M, CPFF, etc.)
  • Experience with GSA schedule and IDIQ GWACs
