Job description

 
Behavior Frontiers, LLC is an industry leader providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment to help children with autism and other special needs to reach their full potential. Our expert team of Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and highly trained behavior instructors use state-of-the-art ABA methods to teach children social, communication, play, cognitive, and self-care skills, while reducing problem behaviors. We are seeking energetic and career-minded individuals to join our team. We are currently looking to hire a full-time Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant to support the accounting team.
 
Availability:  Full Time    
Location: El Segundo, CA
Salary: $68,000 to $73,000 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system accurately and on time.
  • Verify that invoices have been reviewed and approved by the purchasing team.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment status, or other account-related inquiries.
  • Maintain positive vendor relationships by ensuring accurate and timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain and record W-9 forms for 1099 vendors.
  • Reconcile company credit cards on a bi-monthly basis.
  • Verify that all credit card charges are legitimate, properly coded, and supported with receipts.
  • Resolve credit card discrepancies and communicate with cardholders as needed.
  • Assist with fixed asset tracking, leasehold improvement tracking, reimbursements, and related tasks.
  • Track and verify employee reimbursement expenses.
  • Record operating and disbursement account journal entries in Sage.
  • Assist with expense analysis, regional analysis, and departmental analysis.
  • Track budgets, prepare budget vs. actual reports, and follow up with departments or regions.               
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Prepare correspondence, mailings, and priority shipments for the Accounting Department.
  • Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as required.
  • Maintain organized files and records within the Accounting Department.
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred major in Accounting. 
  • 1 to 3 years of accounting or accounts payable experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook. 
  • Familiarity with Sage is a plus. 
  • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Must be sensitive to deadlines and be detail oriented.    
  • Must be skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data. 
  • Applicants must also be reliable, punctual, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced office environment. Desired applicant should be able to handle multiple projects and complete tasks in a timely manner all while interacting with clients, employees and office executives.  
  • Ability to provide negative TB test results. 
  • Ability to clear FBI & DOJ fingerprinting.
