Position Summary
The Student Assistant for Fashion Management primarily works as a teaching assistant in Fashion Studio classes and assists faculty and staff with day-to-day tasks as needed by the department. The Student Assistant reports to the Fashion Management Faculty.
Essential Functions
  • Assists faculty in Fashion Design Studio classes.
  • Typing.
  • Filing.
  • Answering phones.
  • Assists faculty, staff, and student.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and reliability.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
  • Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference and the NCAA.

Required Education
  • Current UIW fashion student.
  • Eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study program
  • Successfully completed the following course: FMGT 1310.
