About the Role:

As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and employees. You will be expected to perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will be crucial in ensuring that our facilities are always in top condition. You will work closely with other members of the custodial team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Manual dexterity and fine manipulation skills
  • Ability to reach overhead and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience operating cleaning equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in custodial work
  • Knowledge of material safety data sheets
  • Ability to travel long distances if necessary

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
  • Collaborate with other members of the custodial team to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner

Skills:

As a Custodian, you will use your manual dexterity and fine manipulation skills to perform a variety of cleaning tasks. You will also need to be able to operate cleaning equipment and follow established safety procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently will be important in ensuring that our facilities are always in top condition. Additionally, your ability to collaborate with other members of the custodial team will be crucial in completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
