The FAE 'Field Application Engineer' is a critical team member, providing comprehensive pre-sale & post-sale support to some of the most innovative companies in the world- helping them develop and launch IoT's bleeding edge products. The FAE will establish and maintain close technical ties to the customers, partners and internal Sales Directors to ensure they are guided and supported throughout the design process End-to-End and new sales opportunities are captured. 
This is a growth opportunity, to become a technical expert of our client's bleeding edge product portfolio of embedded wireless technologies and solutions through extensive training, field support and a collaborative team environment. 

Objectives and Responsibilities Include:
Provide design support to customers, integrators, sales team- to promote the company's products to customer engineers during the design win cycle and ensure customers are provided world-class support from End to End
Develop and present technical materials in customer meetings, trainings and sales meetings
Ensure customers and partners are properly and consistently supported. 
Distill customers' requirements and technical needs to ensure needs are met and appropriate solutions suggested.
Interface with internal R&D teams to achieve continuous improvement of product documentation based on customer feedback.
Influence product roadmap developments through communication with internal Product Management teams to ensure voice of the customer is leverages in future strategic developments
Minimal Regional Travel- 15%+/-

Qualifications

Likely Profile & Talents:


3+ years of embedded design, support or technical sales experience within the semiconductor, wireless components or cellular module sectors
Understanding of and design experience with embedded systems, firmware, development tools, microcontrollers, antenna design and power management.
Excellent communicator with strong English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand customer needs and to probe for answers, determine a solution and effectively articulate solutions to the customer.
Exceptional, proactive and responsible time management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects 
Experienced with Cellular technologies including- GSM, CDMA, UMTS, WCDMA, LTE, 3G/4G technologies
Experience with Python, C, Linux programming
Humble, Hungry, Smart and of the Highest Integrity
