Job Title:Adjunct Teaching - Psychology - PSYCH 345: Mediation and Conflict Resolution
Posting End Date:June 3, 2026

Position Start Date:September 1, 2026
Required Degree:MS or PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
Show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring.
Prior experience teaching mediation and conflict resolution is preferred.
Experience applying or conducting research or practice in mediation and conflict resolution preferred.
Duties/Expectations:
Teach Psych 345: Mediation and Conflict Resolution
Have the knowledge and ability to teach foundational principles and practical skills of mediation and conflict resolution. Topics include communication skills, information gathering, active listening, reframing, negotiation, problem solving, managing conflict, and agreement writing.
Candidates should prepare students to apply mediation concepts through roleplay and experiential learning.
Our department values belonging, student mentoring, a collegial culture, and the ideals of open and reproducible research.
Help students explore how faith and reason can work together in understanding human thoughts, feelings, virtues, and behaviors.
This course will be taught as an in-person day class during Fall Semester 2026. Specific days/times are TBD
