Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, factoring in the severity, frequency, and duration of these issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to craft tailored treatment plans that align with their needs, aspirations, and values, ensuring an individualized approach to care.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver high-quality interventions.
  • Facilitate education on mood disorders for clients and their families, empowering them with information about treatment options and valuable self-care strategies.
  • Regularly monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, reassessing and adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Coordinate closely with psychiatrists and other medical team members to provide integrated, comprehensive care for each client.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and consultations to enhance clinical skills and stay current with the latest research in mood disorders.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
  • Act as an advocate, working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues and supporting clients in navigating their treatment journeys.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications
  • Valid State License as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in treating learning disabilities, behavioral problems, and social/emotional disorders.
  • Strong understanding of California laws and professional ethics pertinent to mental health practice.
  • Ability to pass background checks conducted by the FBI and DOJ.
  • Completion of a current TB test (within the last six months).
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a setting that provides telehealth services.
  • Previous experience working with diverse clientele in outpatient care settings.
Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary range for this position is between USD 115,000 and 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
