CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson, North Dakota, is seeking aย Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Surgeonย to join our established team. This is aย high-demand replacement positionย with immediate patient volume, strong internal referrals, and virtually no competition in the local market.

With access to a modern OR, a supportive medical community, and upcoming program expansions (wound care and bariatrics), this is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon withย trauma, GI, or Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience.

Practice Highlights
  • Clinic & OR Balance:ย 2.5 clinic days + 2 OR days per week

  • OR Cases:ย 36 per day, wide variety including laparoscopic, GI, trauma, and bariatric procedures

  • Procedures Include:ย Colonoscopy, EGD, appendectomy, lap chole, bowel resection, hernia repair, trauma surgery, gastric bypass, gastric sleeve, and more

  • Advanced Practice Provider Support:ย NP starting Oct. 1 for increased efficiency

  • Call:ย 1:3 rotation (10 days/month) with flexibility in clinic scheduling during call weeks
