We are searching for an Associate Manager, Product Development & Sourcing, to join this amazing team. In this role you will support our Design and Merchandising department in product development and production
Assisting in the implementation and optimization of global sourcing strategy, driving processes from design inception to NDC, negotiating with suppliers, owners and agents for pricing, factory space and in-season production issues, managing daily operations and accountable for product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Works cross functionally to drive calendar adherence through strong organizational & time management skills
  • Ensures on-time deliverables from cross-functional partners (trend/innovation, designers, technical designers and merchants)
  • Assists in Vendor Allocation
  • Drives initial mark-up (IMU) and average unit cost (AUC) to achieve department goals
  • Process driven; understands and values the need to access and improve processes to drive efficiencies
  • Engages continuously with vendor community
  • Strong understanding of vendor operations, creative and product development processes
  • Works with Design team to collaborate on trim & fabric research, print and color development

Experience / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Fashion or Textiles
  • 3+ years of apparel product development, sourcing and production experience
  • Strong communication skills - build strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Knowledge of Product Life Cycle processes, cost negotiations and logistics
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage workflow and projects for self, team and cross-functional teams
  • Experience with PLM and Excel
  • Self-motivated, creative problem solver with strong sense of urgency
