We are currently seeking a Director of Fabric R&D and Sourcing:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to Research, Develop and suggest new fabrics and fabric trends for the Company, to meet and exceed OJG Margin goals.
  • Work closely and partner with Design teams, to understand fashion trends and accordingly develop fabrics for the seasons ahead.
  • Work closely and partner with Fabric team to work with the existing and new Mills.
  • Work closely with Production teams on new fabrics and pricing trends.
  • Work closely with the Quality teams to ensure new fabrics adhered to OJG Quality protocols and Testing requirements.
  • Attend trade shows to review and gather new resources, trends and ideas.
  • Work with Domestic and Overseas mills and supplier to review their fabric collection and work with them to develop existing and new fabrics.
  • Research and Develop new fabrics that are trendsetters to attract new business.
  • Responsible to maintain a library of all current and new fabrics, which are accessible to Design, Technical, Fabric, Production and Quality teams at all given times.
