Job description

JOB TITLE: Fabric Puller/Check In/Out

DEPARTMENT: Cutting

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

SCHEDULE: 6:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday – Thursday, Occasional Fridays 6:00 am – 10:00 am

LOCATION: Plant 3

Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and/or a varied schedule may be required per business needs

SUMMARY

Reporting to the Fabric/Cutting Department Manager/Lead, this position is responsible for pulling rolls of fabric for the cutters per production schedule

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Pulling work in the correct order
  • Multi-tasking in all areas of checking work in and out and putting rolls back in bin in the correct location
  • Maintaining clean/neat workstation/area
  • Empty plastic buggy into the compactor
  • All other job duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Furniture/Fabric experience a plus
  • Warehouse/Inventory experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be detailed oriented and able to work independently with little supervision
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • All duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Willingness to work over if needed
EFFORT
  • Able to lift/carry/handle at least 50 lbs
  • Able to climb ladders and operate forklift and order picker equipment
