We are seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians to support individuals in a residential substance use treatment facility. This role involves providing direct care, monitoring and assisting with daily living skills while ensuring a safe and structured environment. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and support to individuals while maintaining a structured, therapeutic and safe environment for clients
  • Monitor and assist with self-administration of medication, ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
  • Support and reinforce treatment goals, engaging clients in healthy routines and recovery-focused activities
  • Observe and document client behavior, reporting concerns to clinical staff as needed
  • Assist with coordination of care as needed
  • Monitor program schedules and ensure clients are engaged in required programming
  • Facilitate daily living skills groups and structured recovery oriented activities
  • Assist clients in working through crisis situations
  • Perform administrative office tasks
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid Driver's License and Insurable driving record
  • Reliable transportation
  • Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment or related field is preferred, but not required (on-the-job training provided)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and adhere to confidentiality regulations
  • Capable of strict adherence to policies and procedures
  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
  • Competently communicates effectively verbally and in writing
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook and Teams
  • Adept at learning and navigating electronic health record systems
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screen as required by federal and state regulations
