Position
Objective:
This role will be responsible for building data pipelines, data models, and developing analytics solutions within Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform tools. The individual accountable for ensuring data quality, governance, and performance of our SQL database and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Build & Maintain Data Pipelines
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Fabric Data Factory, Python, Power Apps, or other technologies.
  • Handle data ingestion, transformation, and building ETL from SQL, OneLake or Lakehouses
  • Optimize pipelines for performance, reliability, and data integrity

Develop and Manage SQL
  • Create and manage lakehouses, Warehouses, and Real-Time analytics
  • Build and optimize semantic models for PowerBI or IBM analytics
  • Manage databases, tables, schemas, and datasets in OneLake or SQL
  • Experience with Microsoft CoPilot or Copilot Studio

Data Modeling, Development, Testing and Quality Assurance
  • Design efficient data models for analytics and reporting
  • Perform unit testing, validation, and quality checks for data pipelines and ETL
  • Develop applications in Azure DevOps, Azure functions and App services

Administration and Reporting
  • Provision and manage Fabric resources
  • Oversee governance, security, and access control
  • Monitor system performance
  • Feed and Build Power BI reports, datasets
  • End-User education on Power BI and Data warehouse

  • Understanding and working knowledge of Fabric workloads: Warehouse, Data Engineering, Power BI
  • Strong SQL skills with knowledge of data loading and ETL processes
  • Strong SQL Skills with reporting, event triggers, and stored procedures
  • Development skills in python for automation and data manipulation
  • Experience in developing and managing RESTful APIs using modern frameworks
  • Familiarity with Azure services (Synapse, Databricks), Azure Functions, and App services
  • Experience utilizing ETL programs, automations, and workflows
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft CoPilot or CoPilot Studio
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
