Position Overview

Operational Excellence

As a Barback, you'll help set the bar team up for success by maintaining inventory, replenishing stock, and supporting service with energy and precision. You will keep workspaces organized and clean while anticipating the needs of your teammates and our guests.

Raising the Bar

Your behind-the-scenes work makes a big difference. From prepping garnishes and glassware to clearing and resetting the bar, your readiness and responsiveness will keep service running smoothly. You'll take pride in upholding F1 Arcade's standards and creating a memorable experience for every guest.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Bar Operations Support:

  • Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar before and after service.
  • Restock products, glassware, garnishes, and tools as needed throughout service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including surfaces, storage areas, and equipment.

Team Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with bartenders and other team members to support smooth service.
  • Step in proactively to support high-volume or high-energy shifts.

Stock Awareness & Care:

  • Monitor inventory levels and alert the Bar Manager when supplies are low.
  • Handle products with care to reduce waste and maintain quality.

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure safe handling of alcohol and all bar equipment.

Guest Experience Support:

  • Help maintain a clean, welcoming bar environment for our guests.
  • Support bartenders in delivering prompt, high-quality service.

Skills Required

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast-paced, high-volume hospitality or bar environment preferred.

Basic Physical Requirements

When working at an F1 Arcade venue, Team Members must be able to perform the duties of that venue. The team member will frequently sit for short periods of time, talk via Cloud Based video conferencing and the phone often, and hear and manipulate objects constantly.

Additional requirements will include lifting up to 10 (ten) pounds constantly and up to 50 (fifty) pounds as required. Lifting from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead infrequently. Twisting and reaching frequently. Grasping objects to move or manipulate constantly. Working in hot then cold environments for extended periods of time. May inadvertently bump into team members in a relatively small work area. Will stand and walk for extended periods of time. Frequent hand washing and sanitation is required. Ability to use knives, slicing equipment, and other food preparation equipment. Team Member must be able to communicate with Guests and other Team Members and manipulate handheld and desktop devices.
