Whether you're training, running, cycling, or tackling your daily grind,  if you move, we've built eyewear that moves with you.

We are looking for a talented Digital Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our brand to life across a variety of creative touchpoints. The ideal candidate is a conceptual and strategic thinker but also a design wizard who loves to push pixels. You sweat the details and 'good enough' is never good enough for you. You love to collaborate but you are a self-starter who can work solo. You approach every project as if it's going to be the highlight of your portfolio. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative, Marketing, and other ROKA  teams to develop, create and design tactical executions
  • Design a range of creative assets including website graphics, email campaigns, social media content, online ads as well as possible print executions
  • Edit lifestyle and studio photography to create consistent and cohesive imagery across the brand
  • Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across different platforms
  • Optimize all visual assets for usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and performance; ensuring they meet quality standards
  • Manage timelines in partnership with the project manager to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule
  • Stay current on design trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas and techniques to the team
  • Participate in team brainstorms, idea sessions, and creative reviews
  • Present one's own ideas and rationale for creative work

Must Haves:

  • Real World Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Designer in a fast-paced environment (working at a content/marketing/advertising agency or a similar brand and working in a digital environment are highly preferred)
  • Strong ability level in Figma + Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat)
  • HTML, web knowledge, Prismic CMS and WebFlow experience is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, photo editing and composition
  • Possess a sound understanding and differences between print and digital/interactive typography principles
  • Portfolio must show extremely strong conceptual and design skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment within a small team
  • Able to self-direct and multi-task, organized self-starter and independent worker
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • You enjoy taking initiative and are comfortable tackling problems in uncertain or ambiguous situations
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to learn and understand ROKA's market and products
  • Animation/motion graphics experience, a nice to have

Work Location:

ROKA is located in Austin, TX, USA. The Company is on a hybrid work schedule.  Candidates must be prepared to work on-site as often as needed per the Department's business needs.  Remote candidates will not be considered for this position.
