What you'll do:

As the newest Optometrist at Eugene Eyewear, you'll offer comprehensive eye health assessments, contact lens evaluation and fitting, and prescriptions to a wide range of patients. You'll have access to new equipment for medical and vision exams, as well as an excellent EHR system. You'll work alongside a team of skilled professionals to ensure a positive and seamless experience for each and every patient. The position offers excellent hours, the chance to work at different Oregon offices, and strong bonus potential. Eugene Eyewear is looking for a skilled and compassionate Optometrist who excels in patient communication and has a passion for continuous learning. The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys practicing optometry to its fullest, and those with prior clinical experience and an interest in specialty contact lenses will be particularly valuable. The position is part-time, with coverage required on Fridays from 8 AM to 5 PM. Recently graduated optometrists are encouraged to apply as well. This role offers a range of benefits, including a production bonus and the flexibility to work across various locations if desired. An experienced professional specializing in primary vision and eye health care, including conducting eye examinations, diagnosing and treating vision issues such as nearsightedness, and managing eye conditions like glaucoma, would be a great addition to the team of professionals. Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
