Job Title: Logistics Claims Senior Specialist
Location: Springdale, AR 72762
Duration: 6+ Months (Potential for Extension)
Pay Rate: $18/hr


Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Claims Senior Specialist to support high-volume logistics operations exceeding $100 million annually. In this critical role, you will manage and resolve carrier-reported claims involving overages, shortages, damages, and refusals at the point of delivery. Working in a fast-paced, call center-style environment, you will interact with drivers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of claims, minimize accessorial charges, and maintain operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve OS&D (Overages, Shortages, Damages) claims in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Engage with drivers via call center systems to verify delivery issues and obtain necessary documentation.

  • Collaborate across multiple departments including Transportation Operations, FSQA, Plant Operations, Customer Service, Warehousing, and more.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in transportation and financial systems such as High Radius.

  • Collect and verify Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.

  • Conduct daily audits of active case worklists; report accuracy metrics through Power BI dashboards.

  • Process donation receipts and route to appropriate internal teams.

  • Track and ensure timely resolution and payment of carrier accessorial charges.

  • Proactively manage weekly workload to meet established service levels and KPIs.


Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or in-progress) preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of clerical/administrative experience (3 years preferred).

  • Prior experience in logistics, especially OS&D claim management or customer service, is highly valued.

  • Background in data analysis and documentation is advantageous.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong professional phone etiquette for engaging with both internal teams and external vendors.

  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally.

  • Skilled in accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.
