Theย Exportย Complianceย Specialistย willย support our export compliance program by conducting detailed analysis of export transactions, performing regulatory research, andย assistingย with compliance assessments. This role focuses on the analytical aspects of export control compliance, including data analysis, regulatory interpretation, and supporting documentation review under the guidance of senior export control professionals.ย 

Coreย Responsibilities:ย 

  • Analyze export transactions for compliance with EAR, ITAR, OFACย and FTRย regulationsย 
  • Performย advancedย exportย classificationsย analysis of hardware,ย softwareย and technologyย (ECCN and Schedule B)ย ย 
  • Evaluate and approve export transactions and compliance determinationsย 
  • Performย third-party due diligence assessments andย determineย escalation or mitigationย actionsย 
  • Review export documentation for accuracy and completenessย 
  • Prepare,ย submit, and manage export license applications including regulatory rationaleย 
  • Serve as an advisor toย internal stakeholdersย ย 
  • Monitor Federal Register notices and agency guidance for complianceย updatesย ย 
  • Maintain current knowledge of export control lists, country groups, and licensing policiesย 
  • Maintain and update export control databases and tracking systemsย

Requirements

  • 6+ years of work experienceย ofย export controlย regulationsย EAR, OFAC, ITAR) and operationsย 
  • Bachelor's Degreeย in International Businessย or related fieldย or equivalent experienceย 
  • Knowledge ofย international trade documentation,ย shipping processes, and Incotermsย 
  • Strong analytical and research skillsย 
  • Demonstrated ability to independently interpret and apply export control regulationsย 
  • Strongย expertiseย in export classification, licensing, and regulatory risk assessmentย 
  • Demonstrates strong personal integrity and manages confidential matters withย professionalism,ย exercising sound judgment and maturity at all times.ย 
  • Proficiencyย withย SNAP-R,ย ACEย and enterprise screening toolsย

The starting pay range for this position is $84,800 - $101,700 per year however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
