Export booking refers to the process of reserving space on a vessel, aircraft, or other mode of transportation to ship goods from one country to another. This involves coordinating with carriers, preparing necessary shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with export regulations. Export booking is a crucial step in international trade, as it helps guarantee timely shipment and delivery of goods. It also requires close attention to detail to avoid delays, penalties, or shipment rejections.

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication are vital soft skills in this role. These competencies ensure efficient and compliant cargo movement, minimize errors, and foster productive relationships with clients and carriers.
