Job description

Support Physician Recruitment efforts throughout the Northside System including physician retention initiatives, new practice development, and existing practice expansion.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Using the “priority list” developed by senior management, implement the prioritization and timeline of recruitment needs.
  • Work through management to maintain a list of practices by specialty, which desire to expand market share by the addition of physicians.
  • Maintain internal and external job postings, job boards, websites, etc. to ensure all active postings are appropriately marketed.
  • Source candidates, screen candidates and present appropriate candidates for review to Northside leadership.
  • Maintain database of physicians by specialty that have been interviewed or presented to Northside for review.
  • Lead, organize, and execute recruiting site visits to the hospitals and surrounding community.
  • Responsible for delivering prompt determination and approval of offers to potential recruits and help set timelines for closing negotiations.
  • Take active role in maintaining relationships with recruited physicians to ensure a high retention rate of recruited physicians.
  • Follows procedures and processes that are set in place by management.
  • Maintains active knowledge of physician recruitment and retention best practices.
  • Provide support on projects which enhance Physician Recruitment initiatives.
  • Provide assistance to the organization in working with Locum Tenen Physician Agencies. 
  • Secure, screen and present Locum Tenen candidates to Northside leadership, as needed.

 


REQUIRED:

  1. Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a four year college or university.
  2. Minimum of one year of related experience and or training in physician recruitment, physician retention, marketing in a healthcare setting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3.  Excellent written and oral communication skills.
