Family Dental Care of East Peoria is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our friendly and collaborative team!!

As a Traveling Dental Hygienist based out of the Family Dental Care of East Peoria practice, you'll also support our exceptional dental teams at neighboring Heartland Dental offices!

This role is perfect for hygienists seeking the stability and benefits of full-time employment while enjoying the flexibility to create a schedule that fits their lifestyle. You'll have the flexibility to choose from a variety of shifts, and even work half days when preferred -- giving you greater control over your work-life balance.

Patient Schedule

  • Single column schedule, averaging 7 patients/day
  • 60-minute prophys and recare appointments
  • 60-90 minute SRP appointments
  • 90-minute New Patient appointments

Qualifications:
  • Current dental hygienist license
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
  • Clinical needs as required by office
  • Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
