How much do executive wealthtech jobs pay per year?

As of Jun 11, 2026, the average yearly pay for executive wealthtech in the United States is $93,552.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $58,000.00 and $120,500.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What jobs pay 500,000 a year in the US?

In the US, executive roles such as Chief Executive Officers, Chief Investment Officers, and senior partners in investment firms often earn $500,000 or more annually. High-level finance, technology, and healthcare executives, especially those with extensive experience and advanced certifications, can also reach this compensation level. These roles typically require strong leadership skills, advanced degrees, and significant industry experience.

Is 200,000 enough to work with a financial advisor?

For an Executive Wealthtech professional, a $200,000 investment can be sufficient to work with a financial advisor, depending on the advisor's fee structure and the complexity of financial planning needed. Many advisors require a minimum investment or charge a percentage of assets under management, typically around 1%, which would be $2,000 annually on a $200,000 portfolio. It is important to consider ongoing management fees, service levels, and the advisor's specialization when evaluating affordability.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

An Executive Wealthtech role typically requires specialized knowledge in finance and technology, and while some positions may reach $10,000 monthly, most high-paying roles in this field often require relevant experience or certifications rather than a formal degree. Alternative high-income jobs without degrees include sales, real estate, or entrepreneurship, which depend on skills, network, and performance. Earning such income consistently usually involves building expertise, client relationships, or business success over time.

What jobs pay 200,000 a year in the USA?

In the field of executive wealthtech, roles such as senior financial advisors, wealth managers, and financial directors can earn $200,000 or more annually, especially with experience, certifications like CFP or CFA, and working in high-net-worth client environments. Other high-paying finance roles include investment bankers, hedge fund managers, and private equity executives. Compensation often includes base salary, bonuses, and incentives based on performance and client assets managed.

Job description

About Altruist
Altruist is transforming the multi-trillion dollar wealth management industry by building an AI platform for wealth professionals. We partner with financial advisors nationwide, empowering them to grow, optimize time and resources, and deliver superior outcomes for their clients.
We're looking for exceptional talent to help us achieve our mission of making financial advice better, more affordable, and accessible to all. If you're passionate about challenging the status quo and want to do the most important work of your life, we'd love to meet you!
But first, our values
Kindness - Kindness doesn't just equal niceness. We listen to understand. We embrace, and encourage healthy debate and diverse perspectives. We approach conflict openly, honestly, and respectfully.
Brilliance - Humility is the skill we're most proud of and possessing a growth mindset is always top of mind. We take ownership in everything we touch; regularly using our unique superpowers to reach a common goal as a team. We succeed and fail as one.
Grit - When challenges arise, we stay laser focused on achieving our mission and finding a way forward, even when it's hard. We are nimble and maintain a sense of urgency, swiftly adapting to change and overcoming obstacles.
About Hazel
Hazel is building the AI engine for wealth management that helps unlock 10x growth, efficiency and value for financial advisors and their clients in a regulated industry. Since its launch last September, Hazel has organically and rapidly grown its user base.
Hazel is a part of Altruist's broader mission to make financial advice better, more affordable, and accessible to all.
This role is hybrid, with four in-office days per week at our San Francisco FiDi location.
The opportunity
You'll be Hazel's first dedicated partnerships hire, owning the partnership motion end-to-end across technology integrations, distribution (broker-dealers and aggregators), affiliates, and industry networks. This is an 80% IC role - you'll personally lead the highest-leverage deals, run exec-to-exec conversations, and close the partnerships that re-rate Hazel's trajectory. The other 20% is leadership: building the function over the next 12-18 months and reporting against partnership-sourced ARR.
Partnerships are how Hazel reaches the majority of the RIA market that direct sales alone cannot - affiliated firms behind broker-dealers, aggregators, and platforms. One signed deal at this tier delivers more advisors than a year of direct selling. If you've built a partnership function at a fintech or wealthtech company, have an existing network across the RIA ecosystem, and want to architect something from scratch inside one of the most exciting AI companies in financial services, this is the role.
Your impact
  • Build and own Hazel's partnership pipeline across tech integrations, distribution (broker-dealers, aggregators), affiliates, and industry networks; deliver against partnership-sourced ARR targets each quarter.
  • Lead CEO-adjacent conversations with Tier 1 targets - broker-dealers (LPL, Cetera, Raymond James), aggregators (Captrust, Mariner, Mercer, Hightower), and adjacent technology providers (CRMs, financial planning, portfolio management) - through to signed pilots and platform-wide rollouts.
  • Architect Hazel's technology partnership program: scope marketplace listings and integrations with major custodians and CRMs, partner with Product on integration roadmap, and orchestrate go-to-market with partner organizations.
  • Stand up the affiliate channel through industry consultants (T3, F2 Strategy, Ezra Group) and association partnerships (XYPN, NAPFA, FPA, AICPA PFP), positioning Hazel into the RIA vendor-evaluation process.
  • Design partnership economics: rev-share, co-sell, and pilot-to-scale agreements that pencil for Hazel and the partner. Build the commercial templates and own the deal structure end-to-end.
  • Build the partnership operating model - partner tiering, deal review, attribution, joint GTM playbooks, marketplace ops - and own partnership
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance to make partnership economics work end-to-end - from partner deal structure to advisor activation to revenue recognition.

What you bring
  • 7+ years in business development or partnerships, the majority of it in fintech, wealthtech, or finserv..
  • An existing network across the RIA / wealth-management ecosystem - you can pick up the phone today with execs at LPL, Cetera, Captrust, the major broker-dealers and aggregators, or equivalent.
  • Track record signing platform-scale deals - you've personally led at least one partnership that delivered $5M+ in influenced or sourced revenue. Pilot-to-scale narrative.
  • Comfortable operating CEO-adjacent. You can run a Tier 1 conversation without the founder in the room, and know exactly when to pull them in.
  • Player-coach mentality. Happy to close the first deals yourself before you build a team. Player first, coach second.
  • Strong technical fluency - credible conversations about APIs, integrations, and marketplace requirements with custodian or CRM partners without leaning on Product for every detail.
  • Operating rigor - you can build the partner CRM, attribution model, and reporting cadence yourself. RevOps and Marketing are partners, not crutches.

Bonus points
  • Direct experience at a broker-dealer, aggregator, or custodian - you've sat on the other side of the table.
  • Background in early-stage or first-partnership-hire situations. You've built a function, not just managed one.
  • Existing relationships with consulting firms (T3, F2 Strategy, Ezra Group) and association leadership (XYPN, NAPFA, FPA).
  • Comfort with AI / agent-based product narratives - this is what Hazel sells.

Leveling & compensation
This is a foundational hire; we expect to pay for proven capability. This role has a target compensation range of $300,000-$350,000 OTE (base + variable) and competitive equity. Final level and compensation is individualized and will be determined based on overall experience, qualifications, and interview performance.
What we bring
Attracting and retaining top-tier talent is a priority. We are proud of the culture we've built and are cognizant of the ever-changing professional landscape. Our dynamic offering of perks and benefits are tailored for you to feel your best while doing your best.
  • A hybrid work schedule for most positions to promote strong, in-person collaboration.
  • Stunning, amenity-filled office spaces in Culver City, CA, San Francisco, CA, and Dallas, TX. Our offices are intentionally designed for comfort, collaboration, and productivity.
  • Competitive pay and equity for eligible positions.
  • Premium healthcare, dental, and vision insurance plans (HMO and PPO).
  • 401k savings plan with a 4% match and immediate vesting.
  • 16 week paid parental leave after one year of employment.
  • Professional growth and development opportunities including an employee mobility program and an annual L&D budget allocation for each employee.
  • Company perks program (includes discounts on pet insurance, fitness, cell phone plans, and travel, etc.).
  • Financial guidance program (includes counseling on navigating debt, tracking personal spend, saving and planning goals, home-purchasing preparedness, etc.).
  • One month work from anywhere policy (with the exception of a few countries).

Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package, along with equity in the form of Stock Options (ISOs) for eligible roles. For salaried positions, a salary offer will be determined by a number of factors including experience, skill level, internal pay equity, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs regularly to ensure fair, equitable, and competitive pay. At Altruist, we are committed to providing fair, equitable, and competitive compensation by leveraging market data to inform our pay bands. Base salaries will be reviewed at regular intervals throughout the year, typically in conjunction with performance review cycles. By evaluating compensation on a regular basis, we are able to reward high performance and ensure all employees have opportunities for growth.
Don't meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Altruist we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you're excited about this role, but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
