Job description

We're partnering with a Savannah organization seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to senior leadership. This is a highly visible role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a fast-moving executive office within a creative environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Manage a senior executive’s complex calendar, meetings, confidential documents, and day-to-day priorities
  • Prepare the executive for meetings and keep key projects moving during travel
  • Coordinate onboarding, staff meetings, events, travel, reimbursements, and administrative approvals
  • Support museum and exhibition operations, including budgets, invoices, purchase orders, vendor bids, shipping, and artist expenses
  • Coordinate visiting itineraries, travel arrangements, and hosting needs
  • Assist curatorial and exhibitions teams with production needs, materials, and documentation
  • Maintain exhibition records, shared files, meeting minutes, and other operational information
  • Work closely with internal departments, curators, artists, vendors, and other partners


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of related administrative or executive support experience
  • Experience working in an art, museum, gallery, or similar creative environment
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and database skills
  • Excellent organization, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Flexibility during major events, peak periods, and executive travel


Preferred: Gallery experience

Travel: Less than 10%
