This role provides direct leadership to Engineering Managers responsible for MetStations and FNEs, PV and BESS Controls, SCADA Hardware and Software, HIL, and Power Systems, while guiding Product Managers to align roadmap priorities with business goals and market needs.

This leader is responsible for driving execution across architecture, development, validation, release, quality, and field support for utility-scale renewable energy products. The role works cross-functionally with Delivery, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Project teams to improve product quality, standardization, scalability, and time-to-market, while building a high-performing organization that supports business growth, customer satisfaction, and margin expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Product Engineering organization and Product Managers for the SCADA Business Unit, providing strategic direction, organizational leadership, and execution discipline across the product portfolio.

Directly oversee Engineering Managers responsible for MetStations and FNEs, PV and BESS Controls, SCADA Hardware and Software, HIL, and Power Systems, ensuring strong technical leadership, alignment, and accountability.

Drive end-to-end product execution across system architecture, design, development, validation, release, quality assurance, and field support for utility-scale solar, storage, and related controls and SCADA solutions.

Partner closely with Delivery, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Project teams to improve product standardization, manufacturability, deployment readiness, quality, and on-time delivery.

Establish and scale robust product development processes, including design reviews, stage gates, release management, testing standards, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices.

Lead product quality initiatives that improve reliability, reduce field issues, lower cost of quality, and strengthen customer confidence.

Support roadmap execution by aligning engineering priorities with product strategy, customer needs, market requirements, and business objectives.

Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team culture focused on ownership, technical excellence, collaboration, innovation, and execution.

Support BU growth by enabling faster product launches, improved customer satisfaction, stronger gross margins, and scalable engineering operations.

Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve escalations, and ensure the product organization remains responsive to market and project needs.

5+ years of leadership experience managing senior technical leaders, engineering managers, and cross-functional product teams.

Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, plant controls, PV and BESS systems, industrial hardware and software, HIL, and power systems applications.

Proven track record of leading complex product organizations from concept through release and field deployment.

Experience working cross-functionally with product management, manufacturing, supply chain, delivery, and project teams in a fast-paced business environment.

Strong business acumen with the ability to connect product decisions to growth, margin, quality, and customer satisfaction outcomes.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence across technical and executive audiences.
