SUMMARY OF THE ROLEย 


NextDecade is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Executive Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated support to the Senior Vice President, Operations (LNG) and their team. This critical role requires a proactive, self-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and can seamlessly manage competing priorities with precision and discretion.

The ideal candidate will act as a trusted partner to leadership-demonstrating strong judgment, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to anticipate needs, adapt quickly to change, and drive results. This individual must be a collaborative team player with a leadership mindset, capable of working independently while supporting cross-functional initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executive-Level Support:
Provide high-level administrative support to the SVP of Operations and leadership team, including complex calendar management, prioritization of critical meetings, and coordination of domestic and international travel.

Strategic Communication Management:
Function as a gatekeeper and liaison by managing, screening, and prioritizing communications; ensure timely, professional responses and alignment with executive priorities.

Meeting & Operations Coordination:
Plan and execute executive meetings, prepare agendas and presentations, capture key discussions, and drive follow-up actions to completion.

Document & Deliverable Management:
Prepare, review, and refine reports, presentations, and technical documents with a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Confidential Information Management:
Maintain highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion, ensuring secure and organized recordkeeping systems.

Travel & Logistics Coordination:
Manage complex travel arrangements, including international logistics, visas, accommodations, and detailed itineraries aligned with business objectives.

Expense & Budget Tracking:
Process expense reports and monitor spending in compliance with company policies using tools such as Concur.

Project & Operational Support:
Support special projects and operational initiatives, helping drive efficiency and alignment across teams within the LNG operations function.

Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong working relationships with internal teams, executives, investors, and external partners; represent the office of the SVP with professionalism and responsiveness.

Event & Initiative Support:
Assist in coordinating key events, leadership meetings, and operational reviews.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience

  • 1-3 years of Administrative Assistant experience preferred; experience supporting senior leadership or executives is highly valued.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to interact confidently across all levels.
